19 May 2023 - Fitness Challenge 2022-23

19 May 2023
Competition

This year, the houses organized a new fitness challenge for our students and teachers on 19th May 2023, intending to challenge their physical abilities and reduce their stress and pressure from schoolwork. The challenge comprised three activities: the hanging challenge, the standing long jump, and limbo. We are glad to have around 200 students and teachers actively participating in this event.

The hanging challenge required participants to hang from a bar for as long as possible, testing their upper body strength and endurance. The standing long jump challenged participants' lower body strength and explosive power, with participants jumping as far as they could from an upright position. At the same time, Limbo tested participants' flexibility as they attempted to pass under a bar without touching it.

The competition was intense, with participants pushing themselves to their limits. In the end, Copland emerged as the overall winner, with Laozi coming in second and Gandhi taking third place.

The fitness challenge provided a fun and engaging way for students to improve their fitness and physical abilities. By participating in the challenge, students could develop their strength, endurance, and flexibility while reducing their stress levels and boosting their mood.

Overall, the fitness challenge was a great success, and we plan to continue organizing similar activities in the future. By promoting fitness and physical activity in a fun and engaging way, we aim to encourage students to lead healthy, active lifestyles and to prioritize their physical and mental well-being.
