HKUGA College 20th Anniversary Open Day and Home Coming Party Arrangements

To all guests, alumni, and friends of our school,

The incident in Tai Po has caused profound sorrow in our community. We wish to express our solidarity with all affected families. We extend our deepest condolences to the victims and offer our sincere sympathies and support to the injured individuals and their relatives.

In these difficult times, the 20th Anniversary Open Day celebrations this Saturday and Sunday have been cancelled. The Admission Information Day, encompassing all admission talks, open classrooms and learning displays, will still be held as scheduled on both days. We view this event as an important opportunity for our community to gather and offer mutual support.

Furthermore, the Homecoming Party scheduled for Sunday will be postponed. Details of the new arrangement will be announced at a later date. We understand the heavy hearts many are feeling at this time. We look forward to gathering with our alumni in the future.

We sincerely invite the public to continue supporting our Admission Information Day. Let us also keep the victims in our thoughts, remembering the value of life and the importance of mutual support.
Thank you for your understanding and compassion.

Sincerely,
HKUGA College

Aesthetic Department 2526

Purpose

Besides fostering students' life-long interest in the arts and cultivating positive values and attitudes, Aesthetic Development plays an important role in helping students to lead a healthy life and achieve whole-person development. Students can learn the arts in a more relaxing way through appreciating, creating, performing and reflecting. Aesthetic Development is different from the elective subjects of Music and Visual Arts. It aims to provide all students with rich and meaningful arts learning experiences, while Music and Visual Arts aim to help individual students to develop their specialisation in these two arts areas.
