Special announcement for inclement weather

Due to inclement weather, the Education Bureau (EDB) has suspended all afternoon classes and activities today (10 July) and for the entire day tomorrow (11 July). Please pay attention to the following arrangement of classes and school activities:

 

  • Today (10 July): Morning and full-day classes will continue as scheduled until the end of the school day. We will ensure that conditions are safe before dismissing students at 15:40.
  • Tomorrow (11 July): All classes and school activities, both indoors and outdoors, are cancelled.
  • Saturday (12 July): The Pre-S1 Parents’ Meeting will proceed as scheduled from 9:30 to 11:00. New S1 students and parents who have not yet completed registration may do so before the meeting on Saturday or during office hours on Monday, 14 July.

Congratulations to 4 of our STEM teams for being selected to be finalists. They had the final judging session on 30th March at the Hong Kong Science Park for the largest scale STEM competition in Hong Kong. Students also gained an opportunity to exchange views of science and innovation with other schools during the competition.

 

Our project, “AL-armband” which is designed for detecting cardiac arrest and heat stroke won the 1st prize in Senior Section Engineering, 3rd prize of OSHC Special Award for outstanding project in occupational safety and health and Emerson Special Award.

 

“Branarians” won the 3rd prize in Junior Section Biology and Health.

 

Another 2 projects, “Freshness Maintaining Safe” and “Biogas bloom” also won the Merit awards.
