HKUGA College 20th Anniversary Open Day and Home Coming Party Arrangements

To all guests, alumni, and friends of our school,

The incident in Tai Po has caused profound sorrow in our community. We wish to express our solidarity with all affected families. We extend our deepest condolences to the victims and offer our sincere sympathies and support to the injured individuals and their relatives.

In these difficult times, the 20th Anniversary Open Day celebrations this Saturday and Sunday have been cancelled. The Admission Information Day, encompassing all admission talks, open classrooms and learning displays, will still be held as scheduled on both days. We view this event as an important opportunity for our community to gather and offer mutual support.

Furthermore, the Homecoming Party scheduled for Sunday will be postponed. Details of the new arrangement will be announced at a later date. We understand the heavy hearts many are feeling at this time. We look forward to gathering with our alumni in the future.

We sincerely invite the public to continue supporting our Admission Information Day. Let us also keep the victims in our thoughts, remembering the value of life and the importance of mutual support.
Thank you for your understanding and compassion.

Sincerely,
HKUGA College

Competition

We recently attained the Best Project of the Year Award 2017-2018 (年度最佳項目大獎) for the 'Participate in Sports, Stay Away from Drugs Programme' (organized by the Narcotics Division). Competing against 110 HK schools, our winning students were interviewed by RTHK, explaining the contents of the project. Special thanks go to a group of S3 students in the cohort of 2016-2017 for their creativity and general ideas to devise the project.

The S3 Sports Science Module group efficiently implemented the project during 2017-2018. We also would like to express our gratitude to the teachers in charge of the anti-drugs sports day (Obstacle Games) with S1 students during the post-examination period last July. The current S2 students fully participated in the activities with enthusiasm.

We would like to show our appreciation for the effort invested by our Sports Department, to nurture our students and facilitate the above accomplishment.
