10 April 2024 - Visiting Xue Long 2

STEM

On 10 April, we were excited to visit Xue Long 2 (雪龍2號), the Chinese icebreaking research vessel. It was an eye-opening experience for our Science students and STEM team members to understand more about the science of icebreaking vessels and the technological advancement of China. After the visit, students enjoyed the chance to interact with the scientists of Xue Long 2 and Zhongshan Station in Antarctica. It was definitely a valuable opportunity for them to expand their horizons by engaging in a meaningful dialogue with renowned scientists.
