On 22 November 2025, the History Club and Chinese History Club joined forces with the St. Stephen’s College History Society for a unique educational experience. A total of 24 students came together for an immersive game-based learning activity designed around authentic stories that happened in the Stanley Internment Camp during the Japanese Occupation.

The outing activity took place on the campus of St. Stephen’s College, the site of the former Stanley Internment Camp. Learning history inside this declared heritage site allowed the past to come alive for our students in a way that textbooks simply cannot replicate.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to St. Stephen’s College for hosting this meaningful event. The response from our students was overwhelmingly positive, with many sharing that the activity successfully raised their interest in Hong Kong history. By engaging with the site directly, they gained a much deeper understanding of the Japanese Occupation period.
