17 January 2026 - HKUGA College Students Triumph in STANCE 2025 Storytelling Finals
On the 17th of January, two HKUGA College students went head-to-head with 20 finalists in the Junior and Senior Categories of STANCE, Asia's Inaugural Storytelling Competition for Global Youth 2025 hosted by South China Morning Post at JC Cube in Tai Kwun.
Among almost a thousand entrants, from over 135 schools all over Hong Kong, both students discussed topics of sociocultural importance, and managed to woo the judges, ranging from media stars, esteemed speakers, and renowned journalists.
S5G22 Justin Liu won MERIT AWARD in the Senior Form Category for his speech titled "How Lack of Disclosure & Gender Roles Lead to Undesirable Psychological Health: Analysis & Solutions".
S3K28 Roxy Wan won CHAMPION in the Junior Form Category for her speech titled "Finding New Coordination for Education in a Changing World".
