21 September 2023 - Seminar on “The Chinese Constitution, ‘One Country, Two Systems’, and Hong Kong’s National Security Law”

On September 21, the CS Department & MCNSE Committee hosted a thought-provoking seminar as part of our commitment to national education. We were honoured to have Mrs. Rita Fan Hsu Lai-Tai, the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Endeavour Education Center, as our distinguished guest speaker.

The lecture, conducted in Cantonese, explored the intricate relationship between the Chinese Constitution, the ‘One Country, Two Systems’ principle, and the National Security Law in Hong Kong. Mrs. Fan adeptly navigated these complex topics, providing our S4-S6 students with a deeper understanding of our society’s legal and political structures.

This seminar offered a valuable opportunity for our students to engage with these important issues, and we look forward to hosting more of such insightful events in the future.
